The general objective of this training is to learn how to draft a project in response to a European Commission call for proposals financed by EU external actions (DG INTPA, DG NEAR, DG REGIO).

DG INTPA, for International Partnerships, publishes calls aiming at "reducing poverty, ensuring sustainable development, and promote democracy, human rights, and the rule of law across the world". While the rules remain the same, depending on your location, you may be eligible to DG NEAR or DG REGIO.

-  To understand the expectations of the European Commission in the context of calls for proposals,
-  To know how to draft a project that highlights the project presented by the entity (NGO, public entity, university, non-state actor)
-  To know how to draft an attractive concept note
-  To know how to draft a complete proposal including the logical framework and the budget.

Our trainer: Filipe Santos

Filipe Santos is a Senior Expert in European Union External Actions. Filipe specialises in the financial and administrative preparation of applicants for External Actions calls for proposals. Filipe was part of the INTPA team in charge of the PRAG, and he was more specifically in charge of the INTPA's grants legal framework.
