Dear All,

In preparation to the I2ND meeting, please find in the following:

-          An Agenda proposal

-          Meeting location details

-          Information about travel and accommodation


Here is the proposal of agenda for the meeting, please have a look and let me know if you have further important items to add:

-          Wed 21 Afternoon (14:00 to 18:00)

o   Robotics - Working on architecture and demo proposals

-          Thu 22

o   Morning (9:00 to 13:00)

§  KIARA-J (remote connection with eProsima/DFKI)

§  OFNIC

§  SDNSDK

§  Revision of global Architecture of chapter

§  Chapter General topics (deliverables, JIRA, demos/live demo, etc)

o   Afternoon

§  Robotics - Finalisation of architecture (up to 16)

§  Further general topics about chapter + AOB (if time still available)

The agenda is reflecting the attendance information I received (in particular people from Etxe-Tar arriving the first day at noon, and people from ZHAW attending the whole second day). I have arranged for a remote videocall as people from eProsima and DFKI couldn't attend directly. The call details will be sent later.


Here is some information about logistics for the meeting.

-          TI's Official Address: via G. Reiss Romoli 274, Torino

-          Visitors Entrance: via Olivetti 6. You have to use this entrance

How to get to

----------------

- By plane: Torino-Caselle airport (http://www.aeroportoditorino.it). It takes about 20  minutes by taxi to get to TI from the Torino airport. Alternatively you can use the shuttle bus (leaving the airport every 15-30 minutes, see link: http://www.aeroportoditorino.it/en/passeggeri_en/trasporti_en/bus_en.html) up to Stazione Porta Nuova; there, you can take the bus line 52 to get close to TI (see below for bus lines). Finally, you can use the train going from airport to stazione Dora and again take bus line 52.

- By car: Tangenziale Nord, "Borgaro" exit.

- By train: from main stations (Porta Nuova and Porta Susa) it might be preferrable to take a taxi, it takes about 15-25 min to get to TI. Bus line 52 also stops at Porta Nuova station.

Accomodation

Here are a few hotel suggestions, all of them are downtown but it is not taking too much time to TI.

Hotels at the hearth (and most beautiful part) of Torino:

Hotels closer to TI but not exactly downtown:
President - Via Cecchi 67 (its advantage is that is close to Dora station so you can use bus line 52, but it's not in a very nice area)
Mercure Torino Royal - Corso Regina Margherita 249 (tram line 9 + ~800m walking distance)
