Dear partners,

We enter the final and critical phase of finalizing the writing of
the proposal we aim at submitting to the ICT-3 call.

After some brainstorming discussions, the approach is now clear on
how to approach Section 1.

It should be feasible to come with a good first draft by EOB
Thursday, but requires the collaborative effort and engagement of some
of you.  No worries, for most of you it will only imply writing two
pages ... but they have to be rather good masterpieces.  You have almost
three days for bringing your contribution, and in most of the case
that's more than reasonable.  However, please do the best for generating
a real masterpiece.

Target is to complete section 1.3.1 on Concept.  This section follows
a story line of the concept and main ideas underpinning the project.  I
put into parenthesis the name of those of you who have been assigned to
each section:

 1. Relying on FIWARE Context Broker technology as an enabler for the
    Data Economy (Juanjo)
 2. Leveraging on the adoption of FIWARE Context Broker technology as
CEF Building Block to gain traction (Karen)
 3. Implementing IDS concepts to enable the secure, trusted and
controlled exchange of context data (Gernot and Sebastian)
 4. Relying on TM Forum Ecosystem Open APIs to implement Context Data
Brokering and Trading (Miguel and Francisco)
 5. Partnering with TM Forum and domain stakeholders to define de-facto
Context Information Models standards (Jose Manuel)
 6. Bringing together all pieces to create the basis for the target
    ecosystem (Juanjo)
 7. Creating reference success stories and fine-tuning organization,
legal and commercial aspects through first pilots (Clara)
 8. Growing the ecosystem and making it sustainable (Andres/Almudena,
    Miguel - Zabala, Angeles)

Check hints provided in each of the sections.  When I have provided
text under angle brackets ( < ... > )  it means that you need to produce
one or more paragraphs elaborating on the concept within brackets.

Each section should end with a final paragraph that summarizes the
concept / main idea you have developed.  It has to align with the
message that the title of the section delivers.  3-4 lines maximum.
Again, all within a section should fit within two pages maximum.

FundingBox, Zabala and the FIWARE Foundation will complete section
1.3.2 on Methodology.

Regarding Ambition, I would like to make progress on the description
of progress beyond the state of the art in technologies.  Therefore,
please deal with the following assignments:

 1. From Data Access Control to Data Usage Control: enabling
sovereignty on data (Joaquin, Alvaro, Martino, Federico-Tomás)
 2. From Open Data Publication Platforms to Data Marketplaces (Miguel
    and Francisco)

I hope there aren't any doubts.  Nevertheless, don't hesitate to
ask.  However, bear in mind that I will be taking a flight now to
Brussels and then have to arrive to the venue where I will be able to
connect and read mails, so I will be off for a while.  I expect to be on
line again 12:30 or so.

I will come soon with comments after reviewing the WP descriptions
and also sending all of you the template for collecting partner information.

@Karen: I will get back to you with further assignments.  For the
time being, please concentrate on producing a first draft of the section
I have assigned to you.

IMPORTANT: For the time being, we'll use the following name for the
project (you will typically need to refer to the name of the project
when writing your sections): DATAWORLD.

   Cheers,
