[FIWARE-ihubs-committee] Invitation to participate in the Hackatour of the International Fair of Smart Destinations

Dear all,

I wanted to tell you that from the *Cities of the Future Institute (ICF)* and
the *Buenos Aires Regional School of the National Technological University*,
the most prestigious technological university in Argentina, we are
organizing the first *International Fair of Smart Destinations (FIDI)*. We
have the collaboration of avant-garde Spanish institutions on the subject
such as the *State Mercantile Society for the Management of Innovation and
Tourism Technologies (SEGITTUR), and the Valencian Institute of Tourism
Technologies (INVAT-TUR), and with the support of the Ministries of Tourism
and Sports, and of Productive Development of the Argentine Republic*. Also,
we have the *FIWARE Foundation* as a Platinum Sponsor and of great support
in the organization. FIDI will be a 100% virtual experience on a platform
developed by the company Big Jonan and will be held from November 20th to
29th.

With the collaboration of the FIWARE Foundation and The Texas Project, we
are organizing the *FIDI HACKATOUR*, a hackathon that will bring together
students and educational institutions, entrepreneurs and companies, tourism
professionals, IT and technology professionals, and innovators, who will
compete in the development of technological solutions oriented to the
tourism sector. Considering that they contribute to the generation of open
data ecosystems, perhaps the iHub, some iHub company, or the city in which
it is established, can *contribute and contribute with a donation of data
sets (real open, or not real but simulated)* so that the participants can
use them in the challenges posed.

Of course, the solutions resulting from the hackathon will be presented to
all data contributors, so that they can connect with their designers and
developers, analyze the possibilities of being able to promote them, since
they will all run on FIWARE Platform.
