Dear all,

I need inputs in terms of IOT ASSETS for 2.1.3. This is a simple table.

I expect inputs from:

  * All Cities and their ecosystem partners
  *   Atos
  *   Bronze Labs
  *   Digital Catapult
  *   Engineering
  * Future Cities Catapult (e.g. maker space)
  *   Heijmans Wegen
  *   Philips
  *   Rombit
  *   Telefonia
  * TST (already sent TSmarT) - but needs to improve with TRLs
  *   Ubiwhere
  * The RTOs and Universities can provide his as an option

DEADLINE IS TODAY AT 2000!

Inputs come directly to me as word documents using the table below.

I am aware that this might overall with inputs that cities have already given for the straight jacket, we need this input again in section 2.

Thanks

Mirko

Asset name and type (platform, application, tool, labs (e.g. FabLab), legal context) and form which organisation(s)

EXAMPLE: TSmarT IoT platform

Description of the asset (3-4 lines max) - What is the ASSETS TRL* if it is a technology related asset.

EXAMPLE: TSmarT is a modular wireless communications platform designed to facilitate the development and implementation of IoT, monitoring and remote control applications in different markets. The TSmarT family encompasses two programmable devices (TSmoTe & TSgaTe) and expansion modules for the different wireless technologies supported (ZigBee, Wi-Fi, GPRS, NFC/RFID, GPS). TRL?

What will be done in the project in terms of scaling the asset and bring it to the market (3-4 lines max) - this could be legal practices, labs as much as technologies.

What will the new TRL* level be?

EXAMPLE: TSmarT platform will experience adaptations specific to the goals pursued, cemented in its FI-WARE ready consideration and better suiting its performance in an IoT Smart City environment which shall derive in its presence in other Smart Cities around the world interested in employing the tool in their own initiatives. TRL?

This example is not ideal as it is still quite fluffy – TRLs are missing and what adaptations/developments specifically? But the length is good.

*EU TRL Levels:
Technology Readiness Level      Description
TRL 1.  basic principles observed
TRL 2.  technology concept formulated
TRL 3. experimental proof of concept
TRL 4. technology validated in lab
TRL 5. technology validated in relevant environment (industrially relevant environment in the case of key enabling technologies)
TRL 6. technology demonstrated in relevant environment (industrially relevant environment in the case of key enabling technologies)
TRL 7. system prototype demonstration in operational environment
TRL 8. system complete and qualified
TRL 9. actual system proven in operational environment (competitive manufacturing in the case of key enabling technologies; or in space)
