Hi Miguel,

The answer is in this thread: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ceilometer/+bug/1527620.
Seems the bug is related to not well considering the overcommit factor and it is a Ceilometer/OpenStack bug. We checked last week with Pablo and, indeed, we have seen the data collected by Ceilometer is the same reported by the monitoringAPI: this means it is not a problem with data elaboration on our side.

Hope this will be solved in the future releases.
