Dear WPLs, WPAs, members of the PCC, Our PO, Arian Zwegers, has forwarded to us his proposal on reviewers for the FI-WARE project. I would kindly ask you to review their CVs. You know that selection of reviewers is key. A bad reviewer may become a true "pain in the ass", as some of you know from experience in other projects. Arian mentioned that he wants them to focus on industrial relevance of results. I interpret this as much more attention on the "what" rather than the "how". He also mentions that he wants reviewers to check progress of the project (remotely and may be supported by some phone conferences with us) every 3 months or so. This would be setup trying to prevent major deviations asap. Be aware of that. In case you have any feedback, please let me know. Overall if you have some objection regarding the proposed reviewers. Besides, I guess we may suggest alternative ones if we know about some good candidate (who should not be part of any partner participating in the PPP). As mentioned, I would like to come to a way-of-working based on fast feedback / suggestion cycles. This will be largely realised using remote reviews, possibly complemented by phone conferences with some key FI-WARE people, if deemed useful or necessary. In case of remote reviews, feedback will be rather informal. The main (only?) point of attention for the reviewers will be industrial relevance of the project outcomes.
