[Fiware-sustainability-proposal] Getting the PIC number for the Foundation

Dear all,

Yesterday I was talking with my manager who is involved in legal discussions about the Foundation, and she told me that our attorneys are talking about having an association instead of a foundation.

Besides, she recommended me to use the Foundation just for the management of the project, but not having too much effort in rest of WPs, since main income for the foundation must be private investment and not public funding.

Is this in line with your thoughts or knowledge about current discussions at that level?

Dear all,

Following my action point of yesterday meeting, I tried to create a PIC Number, you will find below the mandatory information squared in red (you can’t proceed without information in these fields. Please let me know what we have to mention.

Then, in order to create such a PIC, you need to use the ECAS portal with your login. We can put a point in our  Agenda of Wednesday

Hi all,

Find here a link on how to get the PIC number: https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/doc/call/fp7/fp7-ict-2013-sme-dca/32991-obtaining_pic_and_ecas_en.pdf. I also attach a couple of pages that explain the process. The important thing is to follow the process ASAP to understand which information we need to fill in the system (for sure some legal data will be needed).
