[Fiware-wpa] Templates for the "Packages" Entries in FI-WARE Catalog and other manual material for packages

Hi Stefano,

I was approached in WP3 again as they would like to proceed with their packaging activities. Packaged SW partially nears completion, so the paperwork for it is on stake now.
We need to urgently decide on this and distribute instructions since many colleagues rely on this prep work and they do not need to be blocked here. Again, M36 leaving partners (not only SAP as I learned :)) need to deliver until 4 weeks !!

@Stefano: Can you please asap send the templates for catalog entries for packages? Afterall, its only a brief template, I guess.

@ALL: For the packages, what kind of documentation do we deliver (review report 6 elaborates a bit on this) now finally: For example, 1 page flyer only, full user/admin guide etc. (as if it would be an additional GE), ....
We had discussed this already (only as less paper as possible) - does it prevail or does the 6th review report change something here?



--> For next Monday WPL Telco I would propose that we finalize the decision in WPL and that during next week all necessary templates and instructions are distributed among us.

We from our side are now ready to start creating the catalog pages for our 3 packages from apps chapter.

@Stefano: As agreed in WPL call, can you please send around the template for the packages for the catalog soon? If I should have missed it during my vacation, can you please resend to me?

Can we have them at the end of this week, please? Afterall it would allow us all to proceed for the packaging activities - since some of us need to have everything ready and approved and online prior to M36.

We can alternatively go ahead and create our own package entries first, if you do not mind.

There was an AP on Engineering to come up with a template for publication of information about packages of related GEis in the FI-WARE Catalogue.  Maybe also with a dedicated category.


  *   Dedicated entry in the Catalogue from the top level menu (packages may be composed by GEis from different chapters)
  *   The structure for the package entry can be the same one as for GEis entries
     *   the only doubt is for Download tab
     *   if one T&C for the entire package, pay attention to avoid conflicts between the package components. The T&C should link to the composing GEIs T&C.
