[Fiware] [Fiware-technical-committee] Candidature to the TSC : Fernando López Aguilar

Dear All,

I hereby announce my candidature to the FIWARE Technical Steering Committee (TSC) as a representative at FIWARE Lab Level.
As a background on my activity, I have been a member of the FIWARE since the beginning, I am the responsible and cloud architect
of the FIWARE Lab Spain node, the biggest and master node of FIWARE Lab. I was involved in the deployment and configuration of
the FIWARE Lab Mexico, Sao Paulo and Uberlandia nodes. Besides, I am responsible of accept and help the incorporation of new
nodes into the FIWARE Lab, specially those under the Open Call. I am helping actively the incorporation of these new nodes
(SophiaAntipolis2, SpainTenerife, Wroclaw, Hannover, Vicenza). I am a reference in the OpenStack community for the activity
developed in the FIWARE. I am the architect of the current federation solution of the FIWARE Lab and monitoring architecture
solution based on Ceilometer and Murano. I was the project manager in the development of the Cloud Portal. Moreover, I am
responsible of the maintenance of the Monitoring GE tool in order to keep the public instances always up and running.

Besides, I am active contributor and architect of the more important FIWARE Operations tools like GlanceSync to keep updated the
images deployed not only in the different FIWARE Lab nodes but also in commercial nodes. In the same line, I am software architect
an active contributor in the development of the Sanity Checks tool that has provided us an increase of QoS in FIWARE Lab. I am
software architect in the specification, definition and implementation of the Skuld component which permits the deletion of resources
of expired users. I am also active contributor and software architect of Aiakos component which allows FIWARE Lab administrator
users deploy public keys associated to the support account to administrate the servers. Inside FIWARE Operations tool I am a reference
for the overall knowledge of FIWARE and my extensive knowledge of OpenStack.

Additionally, I am Secure Network Architect working closely with Red.es in case of the Global Instances and overall FIWARE Lab Spain
node making an intense daily check of any secure vulnerability detected in the servers and services. Result of it is the continue evolution
of base images in order to correct secure vulnerabilities in the FIWARE Lab.

I have also participated in selection of success stories, showcases, trainings/presentations and external events in order to disseminate
FIWARE, FIWARE Lab, how to use FIWARE Lab and how to deploy and federate a FIWARE Lab node. Last but not least, I was the
coordinator of the first testing and QA report of the different GE which gives me a very good overview of the different component
developed inside FIWARE.
