[Fiware] Candidature to FIWARE Technical Steering Committee (TSC)

Dear all,

I hereby announce my candidature to the FIWARE Technical Steering Commitee (TSC) as representative of the Data/Media and Context Management (Data) Chapter.

As a background on my activity, it can be mentioned that I’ve already been leading the Data/Media and Context Management Chapter for two years now, in close cooperation with the architect and GE owners in the chapter.

Also, I’ve been directly involved in the progress and evolution of two of the key GEs in the chapter: Orion Context Broker and Cosmos Big Data Analysis, directly reporting on their progress to the rest of the chapter members (as part of the weekly chapter calls) and FIWARE/FICORE consortium (as part of the monthly sprint review).

I’ve also participated in trainings/presentations to several FIWARE accelerators and external events in order to disseminate FIWARE and particularly the Data chapter GEs.
Finally, I’ve collaborated with the chapter architect and the corresponding GE owners in order to facilitate the integration of the rest of the chapter GEs (and also eventually other cross chapter GEs) with the Orion Context Broker, as core element of the FIWARE platform.
