[I4trust] Important announcement by BDVA, FIWARE Foundation, GAIA-X and IDSA on Data Spaces

Dear all,

   Sorry for not sending this mail previously but it has been a day full 
of confcalls until just now.

   I'm sending this mail to all of you in order to share that BDVA, 
FIWARE Foundation, GAIA-X and IDSA (listed in alphabetical order) have 
announced today the creation of the "Data Spaces Business Alliance".

   Throughout the day, BDVA, FIWARE, Gaia-X and IDSA have run several 
feeds in Social Media and Mailings that it may be worth to check and we 
invite you to share and disseminate.

   FIWARE is expected to play an important role in this alliance 
contributing the open source implementation of middleware and 
catalog/marketplace services, based on industry standards and 
recommended EU building blocks, enabling the trustworthy gathering, 
publication, exchange and trading of data, including digital twin data.

   Such components are precisely the ones brought in i4Trust. Actually, 
we see the opportunity that i4Trust can be a reference project where 
results of this alliance can be first materialized.   But let's see how 
things may develop.
