Subject: [Fiware-training] Thanks to Madrid Host & Documents
Placeholder (FI-PPP SW Architects Week)
Sent by: fiware-training-bounces at lists.fi-ware.eu

Dear colleagues,

First of all, we would like to warmly thank ETSIT/UPM team (cc in this
mail) for a truly nice organization, good support and available
facilities.
We are sure all attendees and speakers have realized their professional
and fruitful efforts enabling our meetings and discussions during the past
week.

Second, the placeholder for the material presented by UCs & FI-WARE -both
weeks- is available at:

http://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/FI-PPP_Software_Architects_Week_Presentations_and_References

All presenters/projects are now expected to check if all presentations are
listed and available in the docman.
Fi-WARE documents are grouped in a daily basis, while UCs are enclosed in
those day sections differentiating 1st and 2nd week.

Editing this wiki page and uploading documents to the docman within the
forge is not a difficult task at all, as pointed out by my colleague
Miguel Carrillo:

**** How to upload docs into the forge ******************
"It is pretty easy. You can upload the documents to the docman system on
the project FI-WARE and then link them to the wiki. As regards the access
rights, it is a matter of making them private (if you want access
restricted within the FI-PPP context, otherwise make them Public). Private
means that an anonymous user on the internet will not be able to access
them whereas anyone logged with a user in the forge will be able to
download it.

Be aware that this is a 3-step process:
? Upload document to the docman of the FI-WARE project on the forge
? Make document private
? Link it to the wiki place holder

The tutorial is here (with a dedicated section to make docs private):
?
https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/How_to_share_documents_with_the_FusionForge_docman_system
Please deposit all the docs on the directory called "Architects weeks
materials" that I just created for this.

If you do not feel too confident about the privacy of this, you can make a
test after uploading/making private + linking to the wiki. Just log off
the forge and try to download it, you will not be able to do it if you
have made it private".
************************************************************

Should you have any trouble, just let me know.
Best regards,
--
