[Fiware-security] Webinar - Data Handling GE

Hi,

Sorry but it's up to the chapters to check about potential collisions and avoid them as much as possible (e.g., choosing different dates or trying to contact the parallel webinar author to find out a solution). That's one of the main reason we are all sharing the information.

There is no action to be taken on my side. Centralizing decisions would only lead to bottlenecks.

  Cheers,

-- Juanjo

Dear Slim,

I sincerely regret what has happened to the first Data Handling GE webinar you organized. Being said the dates of the webinars are shared between us (FI-WARE Chapters) and UC projects this is something that could have been avoided through a better organization of the Webinars (avoiding webinars dates/timeslots clashes just to mention one ...) and also asking registered attendees to be committed to attend the webinars they registered to. In the meantime it is also true that those webinars were also asked to be organized with some time constraints (especially with respect to the two weeks to have them done). In the meantime I can also understand the rationale (to get these webinars phase 1 to take place before the EC review meeting for us to argue ...).
So yes let's try to avoid such a clash for the second series of webinars this with full support of Juanjo (that I put in cc of this email for him to first be aware and second take action also on his side for such an issue no to re-occur ... ). This independently of actions we could also take from our Security Chapter side.

Best Regards,
Pascal

PS: @Juanjo please report us and also WP/WPA and you plans to avoid such a situation a next webinars week (useless to say this is something we definitely need to avoid ...)

Hi Pascal,

We just finished our first webinar for the Data Handling GE.
One the 8 attendees announced, only 2 were present. Not pat 100% present because we just discovered that another webinar was starting at 11 ... so they were switching between the two.
It a pity to have such few attendees ! of course we didn't get any feedback.

I hope that the next session will be more attractive.

Best
Slim
