Dear colleagues, I think we should send out an email to fiware@ exposing the current status of D.10.5.2 and asking for contributions. Here is my draft. Anything I might forgot? Would you disagree to send something like this? Best, /Thorsten Dear fi-ware colleagues and GE providers, while in former conversations we approached the GE providers directly, we want to engage more with everybody in the consortium. On the 14.05. we release the validation report of FI-PPP use cases from phase 1 to the EC in a "in time" and not "complete" version. You can find the document in the fi-ware-private wiki and in the docman (e.g. https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-review/index.php/D.10.5.2.Report_on_Validation_process_including_Validation_with_Use_Case_projects_front_page - and the linked pages!) It touches on how the Use case of phase 1 planned and executed the validation of FI-WARE GEs. Please familiarize yourself with the content especially the part about the validation execution report on the following page is interesting for GE providers that want to know more on how their component was rated or how to find this out https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-review/index.php/The_Validation_Report. As you can read in the executive summary, we expect that we have to resubmit this deliverable within the july time frame. For phase 2 UC projects there will be a separate process to refine the validation process tailored to their needs. The "Validation Report" is only the beginning - within the next months and subsequently we have to work on chapter-specific analysis of the validation answers (metrics and scenario documents) which has been provided to us. We are still waiting for 3 use cases to finalize their projects and send us the relevant documents, but we should already start documenting more thoroughly what happened during the past month with the UC projects and how they did find it. In the end this can be a chance for everybody to get crisp messages for the review in June! Being relevant, usefull and used and being able to "proof" this. Please find all scenario descriptions (on where they used FI-WARE GEs) and the answers to all the GEs (star-ratings and free text) in the private docman: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/docman/?group_id=27 Folder: "Validation" If you want to know how to use the xls-pivot table to your advantage in order to see "your" rating - or the rating of the chapter, have a look at the Validation Report, referenced above. As said we will furthermore engage with you and gather your view and ask for your analysis of the answers provided towards your chapter or your component. This will be most probably gathered in the fi-ware-private wiki and has a PP-only dissemination level. thanks -- Thorsten Sandfuchs SAP AG | Vincenz-Priessnitz-Strasse 1 | D-76131 Karlsruhe, Germany | www.sap.com<http://www.sap.com/> Pflichtangaben/Mandatory Disclosure Statements: http://www.sap.com/company/legal/impressum.epx Diese E-Mail kann Betriebs- oder Geschäftsgeheimnisse oder sonstige vertrauliche Informationen enthalten.
