[Token-all] PUC presence requested: TOKEN Policy Observatory 14th September at the Fiware Summit

Dear all, especially our PUCs,

In reference to Angeles' email below, I'm pleased to share our *concept
note* for the next TOKEN Policy Observatory planned for September 14th, in
person at Gran Canaria. It includes the goals, agenda, and communications
we propose for this *PUC themed Observatory*.

DURING THE EVENT



   -

   A speaker who can present the PUC and knows it well (is familiar with
   challenges, has been thinking about scaling, involved in the PUC in
   practice, is familiar with regulation/policies regarding the operating
   environment)
   -

      Giving a short presentation (max. 10 minutes) on


   -

   What does the PUC do and where?
   -

   What has worked well?
   -

   What have been the most pressing challenges?


   -

   Participating in the panel discussion led by Demos Helsinki, able to
   discuss


   -

   Have there been challenges with policies and regulations?
   -

   What would need to change policy-wise?
   -

   What can we learn from each other with regards to scaling?
   -

   Operational challenges and learnings?


COMMUNICATIONS BEFORE THE EVENT

   -

   At the EBM
   -

      Please name a contact person (or two) from the PUC, so that we can
      coordinate the planning.
      -

      Do you know of a scaled Use Case that you would like to learn from?
      Can you/we invite them to speak at the event?

   July–September:


   1.

   A short descriptions of the PUC (150 words) by July 20 sent to Angeles
   Tejado
   2.

   Participating in the promotion of the event to your contacts: inviting
   potential participants to join from your own network by email.


   -

   A draft email will be provided by Pinja Lehtonen July 14th and you can
   schedule the reminders to be sent out even if you are on vacation.
   -

   Please send the email three times: 1) July 15th. 2) A reminder August
   16th. 3) Another reminder September 1st.

   If possible, please share TOKEN’s event promotion tweets and Linkedin
   posts (see communications plan for more).
   -

   Please note Demos Helsinki will not cover the travel expenses or
   conference fees of PUCs or their contacts, but if the PUCs have the budget
   for it, they could.
