Dear,

Attached is the reply from Zurich support. Can you please try the suggestion they give ? If it doesn’t work can you please try to temporary allow all (both TCP and UDP) in your security group ?

Hi,
We have looked into this.
	• Are you trying to connect using ssh ?
	• If yes, is the public IP still associated with your instance ? Also the key-pair is configured correctly ?
Public IP is associated.
	• Did you check/open relevant ports on the security group associated with the instance ?
root at node-1:~# nova list-secgroup 1f089a3e-3698-47a1-9f4c-2b2a30769d99
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Id Name Description
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
162b69b3-576d-4da1-baea-ddeb5697e033 widhoc_security_group Securuty Group of Widhoc
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root at node-1:~# nova secgroup-list-rules 162b69b3-576d-4da1-baea-ddeb5697e033
--------------------------------------------------
IP Protocol From Port To Port IP Range Source Group
--------------------------------------------------
tcp 1026 1026 0.0.0.0/0
tcp 8080 8080 0.0.0.0/0
tcp 22 22 0.0.0.0/0
--------------------------------------------------
root at node-1:~#
	• Did you check the instance console (the VM could be in a “not running” state) ?
VM is active.
	• Can you send us the instance ID ?
root at node-1:~# nova list --all-tenants | grep 160.85.2.16
1f089a3e-3698-47a1-9f4c-2b2a30769d99 Widhoc ACTIVE
	•
Running node-int-net-1=192.168.100.47, 160.85.2.16
root at node-1:~#
I think the problem is with the secgroups - I think that for the ssh rule, they
need to set the from port to 0.
BR,
Seán.

Best,
Daniele
