Hi Fermin,
I agree with you and I think that the correct spell is "metadata". So I am in favor to change the xsd and XML examples in the SVN .

BR,

-          Salvatore Longo

Subject: [Fiware-ngsi] "metadata" misspelling

Hi,

We have found cases in the examples in which metadata is spelled "metatada" and "metaData":

  *   https://forge.fi-ware.eu/scmrepos/svn/iot/trunk/schemes/xml_examples/ngsi-9/registerContextRequest.xml : metaData
  *   https://forge.fi-ware.eu/scmrepos/svn/iot/trunk/schemes/xml_examples/ngsi-10/appendContextElementRequest.xml : metadata

On the other hand, OMA spec always used "metadata" which we understand in the correct one according to English syntax (http://oxforddictionaries.com/es/definicion/ingles/metadata).

So, in order to be coherent in all places and align with OMA spec, we propose to change the XSDs (and XML examples in the SVN) to use always "metadata".

What do you think?

Best regards,

------
Fermín
