[oasc-iot-lsp-cities] Action points

Dear all,

To clarify, since I had a few talks with some WP leads and reference zone coordinators: You don't have, currently, a specific ceiling/guidance on how much effort (PMs etc.) you can spend per partner.

What I need is an indication of (1) which tasks you want to contribute to, but also (2) your best effort guesstimate for the effort per task in PMs.

With the guidance I have/get from WP leads on how this matches the budget sketch, I then propose a complete distribution of efforts across tasks, hopefully tonight, but latest tomorrow morning.

I offer a call at 10 am CEST where I'm available, with WP leads (best effort attendance), to iron out any uncertainties of eg. overlap in tasks and/or partners.

We will treat basic reference zone ecosystem resources equally, and tweak according to special needs.

The theme applications will be different, with the two first themes requiring more than the policy one.

Thanks to all who have already submitted PM allocation. Keep them coming!

And thanks to everyone for squeezing the content into place. And welcome to ENoLL who, as dissemination partner, heads the outreach parts. Expect requests for input for the local event and channel table.

Over the afternoon, hectic coordination and proposal writing has evolved WP 3, 5 and 6 plus related sections much further.

Pentti from Aalto is still down with a bad illness, but the colleagues from Aalto and elsewhere are heroically filling in in WP 6. Get well soon. If possible, before Monday morning. ;)

After a long crunch, please find attached two documents which are our guides to the coming four days, before the final review on Friday:
- Proposal master document v2.2,
- List of section writing responsibilities (action points).

Looking at these you will discover at least two things:
- You have sections to finish before Wednesday! ;)
- We already hit the 70 page limit (Sections 1-3), so be crisp.

In addition, I attach the detailed budget template.
Each partner should return, by EOB tomorrow, Tuesday, the following basic financial info:
- 70% (for-profit) or 100% (non-profit) direct cost eligibility,
- person month flat rate.

The template also includes the effort distribution matrix, but that shouldn't be filled until after you receive guidance.
Tomorrow afternoon we will distribute the partner/person month effort matrix with guidance, still to be filled in before Wednesday's meeting for review, with final review Friday. Contribution to the proposal development (text) will be a factor when finalising the effort distribution.

I suggest we make Wednesday's meeting two hours, so that we have time to review contributions section by section. The times are 10-12 CEST / 9-11 UK-Porto / 11-13 Finnish.

Finally, I attach the Letter of Commitment for supporting cities and other supporting organisations, for those who need it.
