This is the new intro to the chapter. I took the text which was already in the description and I formulated a text that I think that is simpler to understand (half a page + then the list of GEs of the chapter) and where the general explanation of the importance is shorter and with more data.

I have corrected a number of typos and inconsistencies from the definitions and listed them.

chapter.   It's just blah, blah to some extend, but question is that all 
the other WPs have some sort of introduction like the one described in 
their respective chapters ... 

  Any volunteer to work on this while Guy is integrating the rest of 
the pieces and I finish my work reviewing other chapters ?
