[Fiware-tools] Boxes dealing with description of Tools components/technologies for the form to be submitted to the EC

Dear Stefano,

  The point was that the content of the Document in Google docs simply didn't comply with the format defined by the EC for the boxes:



Name of the GE implementation:



Link in FI-WARE Catalogue:


(this was not in the original box but we have added it to allow references to it as answers to the next three rows)


Description of the GEi:




What does this GEi offer in terms of functionality:



What potential use could it have in the development of services and applications:




What is the market position in relation to competitive products? What is the competitive advantage?






  I have now found that you have added new stuff that aligns better to the original format, so despite I haven't carried out a detailed review, it should be ok.

  One action point you should plan to get done by end of July is that of making tools have an entry in the FI-WARE Catalogue the same way as FI-WARE GEis from other chapters.    This may allow, in subsequent versions of this form, to use exactly the same format as with FI-WARE GEis.

  The boxes that you have provided with description of
components/technologies in the Tools chapters don't adhere to the format
provided by the EC.   A more elaborated description of "what is provided
in terms of functionality" and input for fields such as "What potential
use could it have in the development of services and applications" and
"What is the market position in relation to competitive products? What
is the competitive advantage?" are missing.

  This is not a big issue, since we agreed that we were going to
include boxes dealing with components/technologies coming out from the
Tools chapter only if you find the time to complete similar info as with
the FI-WARE GEis.   Obviously you didn't.

  However, as a consequence, I won't be able to submit any information
about the Tools chapter.   Just for your info.

  Let's try for the update of the form that we are going to submit to
the EC by end of July.   BTW, I believe that it is worth considering
adding entries to components/technologies coming out from the Tools
chapter in the FI-WARE Catalogue.   I guess that creation of entries
similar to those linked to FI-WARE GEis are suitable for several of the
tools produced in WP9.   Creation of such entries may be a task you may
consider to carry out during this time we have from now until end of July.
